Equal Parts – Artistry and Engineering
Heirlooms Honored and Reborn
Founder Kelly Hunter created Art of The Watch to service, restore and broker high-end vintage and modern timepieces for the discerning collector, with an emphasis on the unique and desirable.
Our commitment to fine craftsmanship stems from a respect for the centuries old artisanal watchmaking practices. Mechanical watches are comprised of hundreds of specialized parts, some as tiny as a human hair. When a part breaks or has gone missing Art of the Watch either sources or custom-manufactures precision replacement parts, entirely by hand.
Art of the Watch’s curated collection features 20 unique, completely original (and a few fully restored) timepieces from the world’s finest watchmakers. Explore these offerings to see how our emphasis is on top condition and rarity rather than mass appeal and commercialism. Most of our watches will have gone through our routine, yet rigorous, service to be wearable and reliable. A few will have undergone a full restoration to bring them back to their former glory.
Occasionally your timepiece needs a helping hand. When your watch needs to be repaired, you can trust that our balance of modern engineering and handcrafted care will have your watch ticking away again soon. From a routine service to a full-blown restoration, we can handle it, making certain that every detail is accounted for. We have training by Rolex, Omega and Breitling – and continue ongoing training, equipping us with the know-how for specialty care.
