Servicing and restoring luxury timepieces is our specialty at Art of the Watch, LLC. Our years of developing a workshop with the often-rare tools of this trade allow for a seamless look in every detail of your watch. The advanced training completed with Rolex, Omega and Breitling allows us to understand every nuance of your watch. Whether that translates to a routine service or a full restoration, every detail is considered and honored.
How long does it take?
A routine service on a modern wristwatch, a number of weeks. A full restoration or an antique pocket watch, expect at least a few months. It takes time to research and acquire the components and they often have to be shipped from overseas. When the broken, worn or missing parts can’t be found, we make them, entirely by hand. And of course, quality takes time. Once we receive your watch we will perform a complimentary evaluation and written estimate before any work commences, typically within 48 hours of receipt.
What brands do you work on?
We work on most Swiss, German and American made watches. We choose not to work on Asian, Russian or counterfeit/knockoff watches. We’ve successfully repaired 150 year old pocket watches to complicated wrist watches that were produced just a few years ago and everything in-between. If we aren’t able to service or repair your timepiece, there’s a good chance one of our colleagues specializing in your repair will. We will make the arrangements for an expert to take care of you and your watch.
What types of watches do you work on?
We service, repair and restore most types of wrist and pocket watches – from the simple hand wind watch, to the automatic perpetual calendar.

What does it cost?
Every watch repair, service and restoration is unique and therefore it is impossible to provide estimated costs without a thorough evaluation of your timepiece. While we are definitely not the least expensive option out there, we aren’t the most expensive either. Our clients tell us we tend to be 10-20% less than factory service while still maintaining the highest standards for your watch. We also pride ourselves in offering superior customer service where some of the bigger service centers fail at this critical component.
